Irene Poole is a Banff-born, Calgary-based singer-songwriter. Her indie-folk songs take inspiration from the natural world around her, and from songwriting greats like Joni Mitchell and Brandi Carlile. Irene has performed at the Canmore Folk Festival, ArtsPlace Canmore, and recently participated in the YYC Songwriter Showdown at Café Gravity. Her debut album, The Mountains and The Sea, recorded with JUNO-award-winning producer John D.S. Adams, was released in November 2024. Through acting, singing, and playing her ukuleles, Irene aims to be a storyteller in everything she does.
